Miami Dolphins astray pass catcher Tyreek Hill suffered a dislocated knee in the third quarter against the New York Jets at Hard Rock Stadium on Monday Night Football, which ruled him out for the rest of the season. While that is going to be devastating for Miami's playoff hopes, there is still some "good news" for Dolphins fans.
On Monday, Tyreek Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, shared a photo of the star wide receiver from the hospital bed after his knee surgery. Despite Hill tearing multiple ligaments, including the ACL, he revealed Hill's left knee is better and will not require a second surgery.
ESPN's Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported, citing Rosenhaus, that from now on, it is only rehab for the 31-year-old University of West Alabama alum's knee injury. “It’s about rehab and he will play next season," Hill's agent reportedly said, adding, "The realistic goal is the start of the season.”
On Tuesday, Tyreek Hill seemed to be in good spirits despite the injury, a continuation of his mood on the field, and afterwards as he was being taken to the hospital. Hill was seen on the MNF broadcast, smiling on the stretcher as he was being taken off the field. Later, a video of Hill's ambulance surfaced, where he was seen smiling.
The same mood continued into Wednesday as Hill left a message for his fans from a hospital bed. He said: "Alright guys, Tyreek Hill here, the Cheetah, about to go in for this surgery. Keep your boy in your prayers.
“You guys have been awesome, man. Fans, nation, just the whole entire NFL have been amazing, sending me lots of love, lots of prayers. And I'm absolutely honored, man. Granted the situation, but I love you guys so much. And hope to see you soon. Cheetah.”

Tyreek Hill finished the 2025 season with 21 receptions for 265 yards and one touchdown.
