Charlie Kirk on how he wanted to be remembered after his death: 'Courage for my faith'

An older picture of conservativist activistic Charlie Kirk reflecting on how he wanted to be remembered has resurfaced online and is sledding viral in the wake of his tragic death. Kirk, 31, was fatally shot during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
In the video, Kirk is asked a simple question: “How would you wanna be remembered?” To this, he replied saying, “I wanna be remembered for courage for my faith. That that would be the most important thing. The most important thing is my faith in my life.”
Since his death, the video has been widely shared on social media platforms, with many users pointing to it as a reflection of the principles he championed throughout his career.
“Charlie’s own words say it all—faith and courage. Not titles, not fame, not power. Just a man who wanted to be remembered for standing boldly for Christ,” wrote one user.
“He stood firm on his convictions. RIP Charlie,” commented another.
“This is such a beautiful yet heartbreaking statement by @charliekirk11. Yes, we will always remember him for being such a kind, thoughtful, God loving family man,” said a third user.
“Charlie was certainly a man of faith who started and built the largest conservative youth movement this wold has ever seen,” one user wrote.
Kirk, 31, was the CEO and co-founder of conservative youth organisation Turning Point USA. He founded the organisation in suburban Chicago in 2012 at the age of 18, alongside tea party activist William Montgomery. He rose to prominence through his work with his organisation, holding events at college campuses across the country to promote conservative values to students.
Kirk was also a close ally of Trump and a staunch supporter of the Make America Great Again movement. The 31–year–old was shot while speaking on the campus of Utah Valley University. Authorities believe the shooter fired from a rooftop overlooking the courtyard. “Any additional clarifications cannot be provided to protect the integrity of our investigation,” a press release by the DPS said.
The suspect behind Charlie Kirk's assassination is still on the loose. An FBI investigation is ongoing.
