However, Iranian officials have said transiting vessels will have to pay a toll. People familiar with the matter said these efforts are expected to continue even after the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, especially to assess the implications of damage caused to energy infrastructure in the region and to ensure that the enforcement of force majeure clauses by energy suppliers doesn’t impact India.
