Illness postpones decisive Game 5 between Montreal Victoire, Minnesota Frost

Monday's deciding biz 5 betwixt the Montreal Victoire and minn. Ice has been postponed due to " participant safety concerns related to illness," according to the PWHL.
The winner of the game will advance to play the Ottawa Charge in the Walter Cup final. The league hasn't announced a make-up date for the game yet.
The decision was announced less than three hours before Monday's scheduled 7 p.m. ET puck drop at Place Bell in Laval, Que.
"The decision was made following consultation with medical personnel and in accordance with the league’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of players, fans, staff and all those involved in the competition," a release from the league says. "A rescheduled date for the game will be announced as soon as medical guidance determines it is appropriate to resume play. An update will be provided to fans within the next day."

The league says medical assessment determined the symptoms of the ill players or staff "are not consistent with hantavirus."
Fans who had tickets to Monday's game will be able to use those tickets for the rescheduled game.
The winner will host Games 1 and 2 of the Walter Cup final on yet-to-be-announced dates. Games 3 and 4 in Ottawa are set for May 18 and 20.
