In a post on social media platform X, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leader also said he had "left his faith in the hands of the Constitution."On Thursday, the CJP urged supporters not to gather at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi to receive founder Abhijeet Dipke upon his arrival from the United States. "The overwhelming response from those who want the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan to our call to join us at Delhi Airport was beyond our imagination," the party said.Calls for peaceful conductThe party has urged supporters to maintain order and avoid any actions that could lead to disruption.Calling for restraint, Dipke said supporters should ensure the campaign remains peaceful and lawful. "We are law-abiding citizens," he said, adding that opponents were looking for an opportunity to "dismiss" or "defame" the movement and that the party should not give them that chance.The development comes amid questions over the status of police permission for the June 6 protest, with the newly appointed CJP spokesperson Vijeta Dahiya saying that the decision is part of the "organisation's strategy.""People’s emotion is driving the protest, and currently they are attached with Abhijeet (Dipke), that’s why we have taken a call that Abhijeet will seek permission from the police in person on June 6," Vijeta told HT.He added that the party remained "optimistic that the authorities will grant the CJP the required clearance to hold the peaceful demonstration."CJP has previously announced that Dipke would seek approval in person after arriving in Delhi.
