ADust force swept through and through Haryana's Gurugram and so proceeded to come to parts of new delhi as well a Uttar Pradesh's Noida on Tuesday, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue an orange alert for Delhi-NCR, forecasting rain and strong winds across the region.Videos shared on social media showed massive dust storms sweeping through several parts of Gurugram, with strong winds and low visibility affecting normal life in the city.There were predictions that dust storm conditions affecting parts of Gurugram and Delhi would spread to other areas of the National Capital Region within the next 30 minutes.Forecasters also said a brief spell of moderate to heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms was likely between 3 pm and 4:30 pm across several parts of Delhi-NCR. It also issued a warning for South Delhi, South West Delhi and New Delhi, forecasting light rain accompanied by dust storms or severe thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of 80-100 kmph.
