Canada's most wanted fugitive, a Quebecer, arrested in Spain

All Boivin, considered the to the highest degree wanted runaway in Canada, has been arrested in espana, according to Radio-Canada sources.
Boivin, who is 36 years older, had been on the go since February 2023.
In December 2024, Boivin and another Quebecer — Dave Turmel — topped the Bolo Program's list of the country's most wanted fugitives. Launched in 2018, the list amplifies priority wanted notices issued by Canadian police services.
Turmel was arrested in Italy a few months later and remains detained there while fighting extradition.
In a news release, Quebec provincial police said they were in communication with investigators in Europe and that they're working to confirm that Boivin has indeed been arrested.
Boivin, who is from Saguenay, Que., faces several criminal charges related to alleged breaking and entering, kidnappings, aggravated assaults as well as drug and arms trafficking, reads the release from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The SQ says it is collaborating with the RCMP and Interpol.
