It looks like Canada's 2026 World Cup campaign will come to an end in eight or so minutes, barring a massive miracle.

Ounahi makes way for the Moroccans after a superb performance that saw him bag both goals tonight.

He makes way for Samir El Mourabet, as Issa Diop is also taken off in exchange for Marwane Saâdane.

Canada is also making a double change, bringing Jayden Nelson and Jonathan Osorio on for Tajon Buchanan and Niko Sigur.

Canada almost found themselves in a deeper hole, as the ball from a Moroccan header struck the crossbar and basically fell straight down.

Thankfully for Canada, it bounced on the good side of the goalline — though it may have been called back for offside if it had gone in anyway.

For a moment it was four on two. Canada got bodies back, but the defence was too stretched and Ouhani had space to pick his spot.

Canada needs a miracle now.

Canada is hit with a potentially fatal blow on the counter.

Ounahi bags his second goal of the game, hitting a curling but powerful shot out of Crépeau's reach to cue Moroccan celebrations.

Canada was caught too high in the North Africans' half, and they paid a hefty price.

David had to make the goalie work with that free kick. It's a wasted opportunity.

Overall, it's been a much more even second half. Ominously, Morocco are finding some rhythm and piecing more passes together. Canada has to try to break that up again as much as possible but, maybe understandably, their energy has dipped.

Definitely time for those subs.

On a positive note, Canada is finding openings in the Moroccan defence. Now they have to make those openings count.

Some Canadians may have thought Michael Oliver had awarded Les Rouges a penalty when Eustáquio was brought down in the Moroccan box. But the English referee pointed to a free kick.

That's because he judged the foul to have started outside of the box, not within it. Talk about a game of inches!

The free kick was still in a very dangerous area and Jonathan David just missed striking the crossbar.

Yeah, this referee is very card-happy, Mouhamad. Not a booking for me. Canada has now drawn level on yellow cards, at least: it's 4-4.

Larin didn't take long to have an impact on the match. Unfortunately for Canada, it was with a yellow card.

The Canadian challenged for the ball just before Bounou kicked it away, prompting Oliver to show the mark of caution to him.

Maybe it was the replay the TV showed though, but it didn't look like there was much contact in that challenge. Quite harsh, if you ask me.

The dynamic of the match has changed, with the Moroccans now happy to sit back, knowing they are more than capable of punishing the Canadians on the counter.

Canada needs someone to unlock the Moroccan defence. Larin was that someone against Bosnia-Herzegovina. Can he do it again?
