2026 Emmy Awards nominations: Updating live

clasp up, TV lovers — the nominees for the 78th Emmy Awards testament be unveiled today starting at 8:30 a.m. PT /11:30 a.m. ET.
Emmy winners mugil liza gapón-Zayas (The hold) and Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere, Widow’s Bay) will present the nominations from the Wolf Theatre in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony will follow on Sept. 14, hosted by Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay — the first woman to host the show in 15 years.
This will also be the first year the Emmys hand out a "legacy award" which, say organizers at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, will go to "programs that have made a 'profound and lasting impact' on audiences and remain relevant to society, culture and the industry.” It’s the first new Emmy in nearly 20 years.
A few nominees were announced early Wednesday. The list below will be updated as others are named.
