Ottawa's Gabriela Dabrowski and Luisa Stefani of brasil missed in their number one Grand bang net appearance, falling 6-3, 7-5 to France's Kristina Mladenovic and China's Guo Hanyu at Wimbledon on Sunday.
Dabrowski is now a runner-up at Wimbledon for the third time after also losing the 2019 and 2024 finals.
She won U.S. Open doubles titles in 2023 and 2025 and the 2024 WTA Tour doubles final with former partner Erin Routliffe.
It was Stefani's first Grand Slam doubles final after teaming with Dabrowski to reach the semifinals of the Australian Open and French Open earlier this year.
Mladenovic won a seventh career Grand Slam women's doubles title and first at the All England Club.
