Blue Jays legend Joe Carter will get another moment in the spotlight in front of Toronto baseball fans on Saturday night.
He'll be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 2.
Carter famously hit a Game 6 walk-off home run off of Philadelphia Phillies reliever Mitch Williams to clinch the 1993 World Series.
Carter was also a key part of the Blue Jays team that won the World Series in 1992.
“Just madness,” said Addison Barger, the Game 1 hero who hit the first pinch-hit grand slam in World Series history.
"I couldn't feel my legs," Barger said, recalling the moment.
