That's exactly what he did, when he homered off Ohtani, giving the Jays a 2-1 lead in the top of the third.

Kiner-Falefa had his first at-bat against Ohtani to start the top of the third.

He grounded out to Edman at second base, which brought up the top of the Jays' batting order.

Lukes ripped a liner to right field, which got him to first base, with a one-out single.

The Dodgers scratched across one run in the second — but, perhaps more concerningly, they made hard contact against Bieber, including two long flyouts.

Two of Bieber’s previous three post-season starts lasted just 2.2 and 3.2 innings, so we know Schneider won’t be afraid to pull him if he doesn’t have it.

But the bullpen can ill afford a big lift after last night’s game.
