Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is set to hold an event at Utah State University (USU) at 6 p.m. In a different building on campus. This marks the organization’s return to Utah nearly three weeks after its founder, Charlie Kirk, was fatally shot at Utah Valley University.
USU is located about 120 miles north of the campus where Kirk was killed.
In Kirk’s absence, the event will feature Alex Clark, host of the Real Alex Clark podcast, along with a panel of speakers including Utah political leaders Sen. Mike Lee and Gov. Spencer Cox.
Sen. Lee expressed his commitment on social media, saying, "I'm honored to be a part of the continuing Turning Point tour in Charlie's honor. The forces of violence and division will not prevail. He will. We will."
Former Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz and current Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs will also join the panel.
