1 dead after 2 planes collide north of Cornwall, say OPP

The collision happened around 10:50 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the Transportation Safety Board (TSB).
Roughly 10 minutes later, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) got a call from a witness, said Const. Serge Duguay.
One person was located dead at the scene, Duguay said. He did not provide their age or gender and could not say if there were any other passengers.
Duguay said that so far, there have been no injuries reported involving the occupants of the plane that landed at the airport.
"The process [to find the plane] was difficult because it was deep in the woods a few kilometres ... But we were able to locate it," Duguay said.
The investigation is underway, Duguay said, and they're determining if and how they are going to extract the plane from the woods.
According to the TSB, both aircrafts involved are registered with Cornwall Aviation Ltd., a local flight school.
Two investigators are en route to the scene, they said.
Police have asked the public to avoid the area but say they are seeking witnesses. County Road 25 was still closed as of 2:45 p.m.
