“Huge explosion in Chino Hills house, the house is on fire, even the wall, it’s on Sierra Vista!,” a person identifying themselves as a realtor in Southern California, wrote on X. They also shared photos that showed emergency personnel present at the scene.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a structure fire at 4241 Sierra Vista, Chino Hills, as per scanner reports.
One person commented on Facebook, “Per my sister who lives on a street below, a house exploded.” After the explosion, many also claimed they felt an ‘earthquake-like’ shaking. There has been no official statement from the CVFD yet. The cause for the apparent explosion and the blaze remains unknown.
