After a very energetic afternoon for the Roughriders and their fans, we are wrapping up our live coverage. Thanks for following along as the team celebrated their 2025 Grey Cup victory.

While some fans went home after the trucks passed by on the Green Mile, others joined the hundreds of fans at the legislature.
âBack to backâ chants filled the air as the players lifted the Grey Cup here and fans exchanged high fives and hugs. Signs showcased Rider Nation's excitement, including one that said, âOne more year, Trevor Harris.â
The verdict on that is still in the air.
The crowd is continuing to shout and cheer as the Riders celebrate at the legislature. Some fans are calling for specific players to appear on the balconies above the buildingâs entrance.
Alex Truong is excited to make it to the celebrations at the legislature. He says the decision to take time off work was a âno-brainer.â
âThese things donât happen every day. I was there in 2013 and I knew I had to be here today.â
Adam Hunter mentioned Marc Mueller earlier. He is a legend in Saskatchewan.
The Roughriders offensive co-ordinator was born and raised in Regina. He led Sheldon Williams Collegiate to a provincial championship in 2006, and became one of the best quarterbacks in Regina Rams history.
The 36-year-old coached with the Calgary Stampeders from 2014 to 2023 before joining Corey Mace back in Regina.
Some members of the Riders, including QB Trevor Harris, are at the top of the stairs leading up into the provincial legislature. One of the players is waving a âGrey Cup Championsâ flag and Riders kicker Brett Lauther is lifting the Grey Cup.

Many of the Riders are heading inside the legislature. Weâre expecting some more speeches once the team gets inside, but that could take a while.

Iâm a senior writer with the live pages team. Ridersâ quarterback Trevor Harris is already looking ahead to next yearâs Grey Cup (which will be held in Calgary) in his speech to the crowd.
âSomething we've never done is gone back to back, so letâs start talking about that,â he tells the crowd.
Offensive lineman and CFL all-star Logan Ferland was born in Melfort, Sask. He spent five seasons with the Regina Thunder from 2015 to 2019. Ferland has spent his entire five-year CFL career with the Roughriders.
Mitchell Picton has scored a lot of touchdowns at Mosaic Stadium. Born and raised in Regina, Picton caught two touchdown passes in the first football game ever played at Mosaic Stadium on Oct. 1, 2016. Picton was a superstar with the University of Regina Rams and has spent all six professional seasons with the Riders.
