‘Google Meet down, yay’: Outage sparks hilarious meme feat on X from officer goers

Google encounter, the tech giant's popular video-calling app, has been reported down for users at various parts. Many have reported facing problems while trying to join meetings using the platform.
Following which, many took to social media to share their reactions, including those who posted hilarious tweets and funny memes.
Google Meet is widely used by employers to stay connected to their employees or by managers to communicate with their teams. This unexpected issue with the platform prompted many to share hilarious posts about being excited by the outage.
One jokingly wrote, “Google Meet down, yay!” Another added, “It is down for everyone at my organisation except me. Why?!”
A third posted, “Google Meet crashed before my will to work did.” A fourth commented, “Yes, but sadly it is working in incognito for me.”
According to real-time problem and outage monitoring website, Downdetector, nearly 67% users have reported issues while trying to access the Google Meet website. Another 32% have reported server connectivity issues.
According to Downdetector, the regions in India that reported the outage include Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Madurai, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
The platform allows users to hold video meetings on the go. It can also be used for hosting or attending virtual training classes worldwide. Additionally, it is also used for remote interviews and a variety of other purposes. It supports over 65 languages with translated captions.
It can be used on a mobile phone or tablet via the Google Meet app, as well as through the website.
