We reviewed the progress in our bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments. India and the US will continue to work together for global peace, stability and prosperity,” he posted on X.Adding to expectations, chief economic advisor V Anantha Nageswaran said last week that he expects the India–US trade deal to be concluded by the end of the current fiscal year.India’s leadership has, however, stressed that any agreement must balance economic engagement with domestic priorities.
