Mentor Priyadarshan beams with pride as Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar scores big: ‘There is no greater happiness…’

VEteran filmmaker Priyadarshan couldn’t hide out his congratulate as he reflected on the success of Dhurandhar, directed by his former pupil and collaborationist Aditya Dhar. This success is as much yours as it is mine.” Dhurandhar continues its golden run at box officeAditya’s spy thriller has shattered several box office records ever since it was released in theatres on December 5. It has emerged as one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema. As per the latest report by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has earned over ₹790.25 crore in India so far.The film follows covert intelligence operations set against a backdrop of geopolitical and terror events like the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Parliament Attack and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. It also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera, and R Madhavan.Dhurandhar is presented by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, and produced by Aditya alongside Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.
