One Battle After Another's road to the Oscars may have gotten a bit shorter.

After winning a raft of awards — including best picture — at the Critics Choice Awards, it has now won its second award at the Globes.

And though best screenplay is not always the most competitive, One Battle beating Marty Supreme, Hamnet, Sentimental Value and Sinners wasn't guaranteed. Looking ahead to the Academy Awards, this win may have awards bettors shifting their odds.

Timothée Chalamet wins his first Golden Globe for his performance in Marty Supreme.

The other nominees were:

Between awards being handed out, Nikki Glaser gave it her all with a song-and-dance skit inspired by Marty Supreme and KPop Demon Hunters, set to the tune of Golden.

The bit was interrupted by Fran Drescher, who jokingly told Glaser, "Your voice is so annoying."

The Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture (musical or comedy) goes to Rose Byrne for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

The other nominations included:

The award for best film screenplay (motion picture) goes to Paul Thomas Anderson for One Battle After Another, the film's second win of the night.

Fellow nominees included:

It's a safe bet you’ve caught yourself singing along to this hit at least once since it dropped.

This is a huge moment for Ejae, who was filled with emotion accepting the award for best original song for Golden.

Filled with visible gratitude, she shared a message with fans: "Rejection is redirection … never give up and know it's never too late to shine like you were born to be."

The track has topped playlists, climbed the charts and lived rent-free in the heads of many.

It shattered records as the first K-pop song to top the Billboard Global 200 and it just logged a record-breaking 20th week on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart — proof that it's not going anywhere anytime soon, only "up, up, up, it's our moment."

Golden, from the movie KPop Demon Hunters, takes the win for original song in a motion picture.

The other nominees were:

Accepting the inaugural award for best podcast, Amy Poehler wasn't short on thanks or jokes.

"Wow, this is exactly how I pictured it … Snoop [Dogg] giving me the award," she said, before noting she has great respect for her fellow nominees, "except for NPR … just a bunch of celebs phoning it in so ... Try harder."

She finished off saying, "This is an attempt to make a very rough and unkind world filled with a little more love and laughter, and laughing with people not at them."

And then she let her parents know they can now watch the New England Patriots football game.

The winner for best podcast is Good Hang with Amy Poehler.

Also nominated were:

With his first Golden Globe acting triumph, Rogen also brought Canada its first trophy of the night. Rogen joked in his acceptance speech how his series The Studio featured a very similar moment.

"We just pretended to do this, and now it's happening," he said, referencing a storyline in which his character pines for recognition at the Globes.

"I thought the only way I would get to hold one is to create a whole show to give myself a fake one."
