Jody Wilson-Raybould says she's starting treatment for cancer

Former federal soldier justness government minister Jody Wilson-Raybould says she testament be starting handling for breast cancer.
In a post on social media, Wilson-Raybould said the treatment comes following recent surgery.
"While this is scary and unsettling, I take strength from the many of you who have shared your stories of resilience & healing with me over the years," Wilson-Raybould said.
She said she is grateful to her surgeons and the B.C. Cancer Agency for their care.
In her post, Wilson-Raybould encourages people to get regular mammograms and get tested for other cancers and illnesses.
Wilson-Raybould spent three years in then-prime minister Justin Trudeau's Liberal cabinet before she resigned and was re-elected to her Vancouver riding as an Independent in 2019.
