The Yankees superstar delivers and the Bronx fans are losing it.
Addison Barger drops a pop up — perhaps troubled by the wind we’ve been hearing about on the broadcast.

Vladdy rips a single into left field, but Yankees relief pitcher Camilo Doval gets Kirk to ground out to end the inning.
The Yankees using Doval — one of their best relievers — at this point in the game shows you how desperate they are to hang in.
No wait, two fans on the field!
Vladdy looks unimpressed, but manages a base hit once things have calmed down.
Reliever Mason Fluharty gets the Jays out of the jam.
OK, so Ben Rice grounds to first and the Jays get Judge hung up in a run down. Nice defence by Vladdy there, executing the run down to perfection.
Stanton sends one as deep as the ballpark will allow for a sacrifice fly to make it 6-3.
A walk and that’s Bieber’s day as John Schneider is out of the dugout to make a pitching change. Guessing Bieber will be disappointed he didn’t go deeper in this game.
Aaron Judge hits a double and it’s 6-2. This is a Yankees club that can score with ease when they get going.
Oh, huh, the Yankees just blew their second coach’s challenge (each team gets two in the post-season) hoping to get a catcher’s interference call that would have sent Trent Grisham to second base.
Grisham then doubles anyway.
But keep an eye on this, because if there’s a bad call later in the game the Yankees may not be able to challenge it.
OK, so into the game comes Fernando Cruz to pitch for the Yankees. The Blue Jays counter with lefty hitter Addison Barger, who has shown some real power this season.
For the baseball newbies: You typically want left-handed hitters to face right-handed pitchers, or vice versa. Lefty-lefty matchups are tough for hitters to handle.
And just as I type this, Cruz gets out of the jam.
Anthony Santander is due, and delivers! He drives a base hit into right field to push the lead to 6-1.
And that’s all for Carlos Rodón as it’s getting late early in the Bronx.
