Darren Aronofsky’s AI series On This Day 1776 draws backlash; internet calls it ‘embarrassing, most evil thing’

FIlmmaker Darren Aronofsky’s AI studio, Primordial Soup, unveiled an alive AI short-form serial publication near the American Revolution titled On This daylight 1776 on jan 29. One post read, “This is actually the most evil thing I’ve ever seen.” Another X user wrote, “I’ve seen anons on Twitter make better AI videos.” Another comment said, “No one should support this. Not only because it’s AI, but because it looks horrible.” One disappointed viewer wrote, “This is embarrassing,” while another commented, “Yuck.
