Ms. Lauryn Hill is performing at the Grammys to pay tribute to artists Roberta Flack and D'Angelo.

The Grammy-winning Flack, best known for songs like Killing Me Softly, passed away on Feb. 24, 2025 at the age of 88.

D'Angelo, known for tunes like Brown Sugar, died last October at the age of 51, after a battle with cancer.

Post Malone leads an all-star tribute to late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.

Osbourne died in July aged 76 following a long battle with Parkinson's disease and other health issues.

Joining Malone on stage for a performance of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs is Andrew Watt, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Guns N' Roses bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan.

Osbourne’s widow Sharon is in the audience along with children Jack and Kelly, and Kelly's husband Sid Wilson.

The legendary heavy metal vocalist was nominated for 12 Grammys throughout his career as a solo artist and won five.

Black Sabbath has won two Grammys out of four nominations, and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.

Making her Grammy performance debut is country icon Reba McEntire, accompanied by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson.

Performing a gentle, cello-backed rendition of her song Trailblazer, the tribute honoured musicians including Roy Ayers, Rick Davies, Connie Francis and more.

Q-Tip presents Pharrell Williams with the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award. Williams urges people to never stop grinding, to never stop working.

The Dr. Dre Global Impact Award is now being presented by hip hop artist Q-Tip. He takes a moment to remember neo-soul artist D'Angelo, who passed away last year.

Tyler, The Creator is not just nominated tonight, he's also performing. The feed of the show switches to black and white for his performance.

He puts on a dynamic show performing Thought I was dead. There's a special appearance from actor Regina King playing a store clerk. The singer drives across the stage in a fast red car and then there's an explosion. There's a lot going on.

Trevor Noah double-dipped on a joke with Bad Bunny — going over to him not once, but twice to complain about his lack of performance at this year's ceremony.

"Whoever’s doing the Super Bowl is contractually obligated to only do the Super Bowl," Noah said the first time. "So you can’t perform at the Grammys. Is this true?"

"I came here — I thought I was performing, but no, I can’t," Bad Bunny responded.

Later, after Bad Bunny had taken home best música urbana album, Noah returned to the same bit: after complaining Bad Bunny was prohibited from performing by the Super Bowl, Noah coerced him to sing along with a band that marched in through the audience.

How serious Bad Bunny was about the exclusivity of the Super Bowl isn't exactly certain; questions around playing at both the Super Bowl and Grammys in the same year were most recently a flashpoint when The Weeknd began his Grammys boycott in 2021.

Fans theorized there was a reason he was snubbed by the Recording Academy in the first place: as the singer had recently been announced as the Super Bowl half-time performer, some posited that the Grammys wanted to keep him out of their ceremonies.

The Grammys denied the connection.

"To be clear, voting in all categories ended well before The Weeknd's performance at the Super Bowl was announced," Grammys chief Harvey Mason Jr. Later told TMZ. "So in no way could it have affected the nomination process."

A shocked Billie Eilish and her brother and WILDFLOWER co-writer Finneas took the stage while wearing "ICE Out" pins to accept the award.

"No one is illegal on stolen land," Eilish said while clutching the Grammy.

Last week, Eilish took to Instagram and wrote, "hey my fellow celebrities u gonna speak up," on her story, referring to the ICE agents in Minneapolis.

"Our voices really do matter and people matter," she added later.

The Grammy for song of the year has been awarded to Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell for WILDFLOWER.

The nominees were:

You know you’re a big deal when you can get the crowd standing as a presenter. Carole King got a standing ovation as she came out to present song of the year.
