The Grammy for album of the year has been awarded to Bad Bunny for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.

The nominees were:

Hip-hop duo Clipse and 14-time Grammy winner Pharrell Williams took to the stage to perform.

Clipse, the Virginia Beach group made up of members Pusha T and Malice, returned last year with their first album since 2009. It featured collaborations with everyone from John Legend to Kendrick Lamar, though they opted to perform their track So Far Ahead, featuring their primary producer Pharrell Williams.

They took to the stage in front of a full backing choir. The three had already won an Oscar earlier tonight: best rap performance for Chains & Whips

Kendrick Lamar and SZA took to the stage alongside luther producer Jack Antonoff and Sounwave, who shouted out Luther Vandross, the R&B singer and winning song’s namesake.

"This is one of my favourite artists of all time," Lamar said, acknowledging how emotional he was to be able to sample Vandross on the song.

He promised to not curse on the track — and said the song was representative of love.

"What I really want to say is don't fall into despair," SZA said after Lamar, encouraging people to persevere.

"We're not governed by the government, we're governed by God," she said.

The Grammy for record of the year has been awarded to Kendrick Lamar and SZA for luther.

The nominees were:

Cher was surprised by Trevor Noah, who sneaked up beside her holding the lifetime achievement gramophone.

She referenced the ups and downs of her career, making the crowd chuckle when she acknowledged the power of autotune on her hit, Believe.

The crowd was on its feet, applauding her as she started to strut off the stage before she read out the nominees for record of the year.

We're now on to the tribute to Roberta Flack, and Ms. Lauryn Hill is bringing out even more musical legends, including Chaka Khan, John Legend, Leon Bridges and Wyclef Jean.

We’re hearing Flack's hits including The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and Killing Me Softly.

Wearing all black, Hill sings Nothing Even Matters before moving on to D'Angelo's hits including Brown Sugar and You're My Lady — all with the help of special guests including Maxwell and Jon Batiste.

Ms. Lauryn Hill is performing at the Grammys to pay tribute to artists Roberta Flack and D'Angelo.

The Grammy-winning Flack, best known for songs like Killing Me Softly, passed away on Feb. 24, 2025 at the age of 88.

D'Angelo, known for tunes like Brown Sugar, died last October at the age of 51, after a battle with cancer.

Post Malone leads an all-star tribute to late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.

Osbourne died in July aged 76 following a long battle with Parkinson's disease and other health issues.

Joining Malone on stage for a performance of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs is Andrew Watt, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Guns N' Roses bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan.

Osbourne’s widow Sharon is in the audience along with children Jack and Kelly, and Kelly's husband Sid Wilson.

The legendary heavy metal vocalist was nominated for 12 Grammys throughout his career as a solo artist and won five.

Black Sabbath has won two Grammys out of four nominations, and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.

Making her Grammy performance debut is country icon Reba McEntire, accompanied by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson.

Performing a gentle, cello-backed rendition of her song Trailblazer, the tribute honoured musicians including Roy Ayers, Rick Davies, Connie Francis and more.

The tribute was personal for McEntire, whose late stepson Brandon Blackstock was also celebrated.
