In curling, there's even MORE drama. Italy scored three in the 10th end after Homan JUST made a double to tie the match 7-7.

Canada has the hammer in the extra end.

This has been one of the more stressful days for Canada at the Olympics that I can recall. Between hockey overtime, this short track drama and now an extra curling end… What a day of sporting adventures in Italy.

Dubois burst out in front early and held on to capture gold ahead of the Dutch brothers Melle and Jens van 't Wout.

It was a disappointing finish for Dandjinou however, who was disqualified with a penalty. Their teammate Maxime Laoun placed fourth in Final B after crashing out.

For those wondering how curling is going, it's going down to the wire between Canada and Italy in the women's match.

Skip Rachel Homan and team had a 5-2 lead going into the seventh end, but Italy took singles in the seventh and eighth to move within one.

Canada has the hammer and leads 5-4 going into the ninth end.

Canada's Courtney Sarault wins her 4th Olympic medal with bronze in short track women's 3,000m relay

Courtney Sarault of Moncton, N.B., became the first Canadian short track speed skater to win four medals in a single Olympic Games, as she claimed bronze in the women's 3,000-metre relay, along with teammates Danae Blais, Kim Boutin and Florence Brunelle.

To recap, here are the medals she's collected at these Games:

Teammate Kim Boutin collects her sixth Olympic medal and now joins the illustrious ranks of Cindy Klassen, Clara Hughes and Charles Hamelin, who all have six career Olympic medals.

It's another medal for Canada, but maybe not the one the speed-skating team was hoping for.

After leading for most of the race, Canada's team fell behind Italy and Korea with just a few laps to go in the women's 3,000-metre relay

Still, that makes it four medals in four events for Sarault.

Now, over to the women's 3,000-metre relay. Canadians Danae Blais, Kim Boutin, Florence Brunelle and Sarault will skate for Team Canada against Italy, Korea and the Netherlands for a medal.

Dandjinou beat out Dutchman Melle van 't Wout to win the first heat in the semifinals, while teammate Steven Dubois came second in his heat and will also skate for a place on the podium.

Laoun, however, won't move on after crashing out alongside Italy's Pietro Sighel. The refs found both skaters were at fault in the crash.

It'll be Canada versus the Netherlands in the final, with the two van 't Wout brothers, Jens and Melle, and fellow Dutchman Teun Boer lining up against Dandjinou and Dubois.

That race goes at 3:27 p.m. ET.

Canadian speed skater Courtney Sarault has chance to win her fourth medal in four events in the women's 3,000-metre relay final now underway.

It's been a terrific Olympics for the short-track skater, who has taken silvers in the 1,000 metres and the mixed relay, and bronze in the 500 metres.

Sarault joins Danae Blais, Kim Boutin, Florence Brunelle and Rikki Doak for the relay, as Canada tries to block the Netherlands from winning its fifth straight gold in short track at these Games.

Dandjinou and Laoun competed in the third heat, with Dandjinou safely through to the semifinals after placing first. Laoun finished third and qualified as one of the fastest third-placed skaters.

There were no Canadians in the second heat, where Dutch short-track superstar Jens van 't Wout came out on top.

Dubois is the first of the Canadians to skate in the quarterfinal. He'll advance to the semifinals after winning his heat. (The top two skaters in these heats, along with the two fastest third-placed athletes, move on to the next round).
