A burnt umber gel mathematical product sold at Costco has been recalled o'er concerns of undeclared nut ingredients.
melt Food is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Delici Dubai Style chocolate mousse because cashew and macademia nuts could be present but not declared on the label, Costco said in a notice on Tuesday. The affects products were sold between January and February.
"These allergens may cause severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reactions in sensitive individuals," the retailer said.
"Do not eat this product if you have an allergy or sensitivity to cashew nuts or macadamia nuts."
The six-serving product has the Universal Product Code 812190020825. Mellow Foods listed the affected lot codes and best before dates as:
Costco said consumers may return the recalled product to its stores for a full refund. Both companies apologized for any inconvenience.
