COnservative US leader Charlie Kirk, who died on midweek after existence crack at an case in beehive state, had just last week said that America does not need more visas for Indians, adding that the States was "full" and it was time to put "our own people first".The 31-year-old Trump ally made his entry into the 'America First' debate, the US President's key agenda since his presidential campaign days, with his remark on legal immigrants, especially from India.He said, "America does not need more visas for people from India. Perhaps no form of legal immigration has so displaced American workers as those from India. Enough already. We're full. Let's finally put our own people first."Charlie Kirk was reacting to a Fox News anchor's X post about the US having to grant more visas to Indians if there were any trade deal with New Delhi.Kirk, also the executive director of the conservative Turning Point USA advocacy group, was speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University when he was shot in the neck.Several videos of the incident surfaced on social media, showing Kirk moving his hand toward his neck as he fell off the chair. Though he was rushed to a hospital, doctors pronounced him dead.US President Donald Trump announced Charlie Kirk's death in a post on Truth Social. He said: “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”Later, in a fresh statement, Trump blamed the "radical left" for the killing of his ally Charlie Kirk and accused them of comparing people like Kirk to "Nazis and the world's mass murderers and criminals".Earlier, the Federal Bureau of Investigation had taken a suspect into custody. However, FBI director Kash Patel later shared an update, saying that the suspect had been released from their custody after an interrogation.The suspect behind Charlie Kirk's assassination is still on the loose, and an FBI investigation is underway to track down the individual.
