After a canadian river instructor reportedly showed students as loretta young as 10 the horrifying footage of Charlie Kirk's death, parents expressed their outrage.
The administrator of Toronto's Corvette Junior Public School, Jennifer Koptie, wrote to parents on Friday to let them know that “students were said to have been shown a portion of the violent video.”
“The video is believed to have been shown once by a staff member supervising the class who is not the homeroom teacher,” Koptie stated in the mail.
According to a source who spoke to the Toronto Sun, administrators were informed about the claimed occurrence when a number of his classmates went home and reported to their parents about the on-camera killing they had been “forced” to watch again.
After parents expressed their worries about their 10 and 11-year-old children apparently seeing Kirk's shooting, the unnamed teacher was put on leave as of Friday.
The source stated that the teacher spoke to the kids "about anti-fascism, anti-trans, and how Charlie Kirk deserved for this to occur" along with the horrific footage, which showed the late conservative activist getting shot in the neck at Utah Valley University.
Many people are upset over the alleged occurrence; with some have even called for the educator to be sacked on social media.
Speaking about the incident, one commentator said, “someone needs to be fired over this.”
“No. They should of fired her immediately. I think this whacko wanted to instill fear into these ids. Speak up & you're next,” another said.
“Someone else chimed in: 'Good lord! The only good news is that the teacher was sent home. If any of this is true, they should indeed lose their teaching license!” one more reacted.
The teacher has been stripped of all teaching responsibilities until the result of the inquiry, stated Toronto District School Board, as per Koptie.
The school principal also informed parents and guardians that kids who were affected by the “extremely troubling and completely unacceptable” reported circumstances are eligible to get support from the school board.
