orphic posters in genus paris and a mystifying Instagram carry by dear Canadian singer and icon Céline Dion are fuelling rumours of her return to performing.
On Monday, simple posters of some of Dion's lyrics and song titles including My Heart Will Go On, Power of Love and Encore en soir in black cursive writing popped up across the French city, spurring excitement among fans online.
"SHEâS COMING BACK," one fan speculated hopefully on X.
Dion's Instagram account also posted a series of photos of herself in Paris over the years, with a caption in French that translates to "I don't know how to tell you..."
According to reporting by Montreal outlet La Presse and Variety, the singer is set to make her return to the stage starting this fall at Paris La Défense Arena in a string of shows that would include two events a week.
In recent years, Dion has been absent from the stage as she's battled a diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome â a rare neurological disorder that affects only about one or two people per million, and causes painful rigidity and muscle spasms and affects one's ability to sing.
The singer wowed fans with a comeback atop the Eiffel Tower's balcony at the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Olympic games in Paris, and later that year performed some of her hits at the Elie Saab Fashion Show in Saudi Arabia.
