State agencies and district administrations have also mobilised fire brigades, police units and local volunteers.As per the release, two people have died in rain-related incidents in Beed district, and one death was reported from Nagpur in the last 24 hours.At least 41 revenue circles of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed and Nanded recorded more than 65 mm rainfall on Monday, an official said.Talking to PTI, Beed Resident Deputy Collector Shiv Kumar Swami said that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who is also the district guardian minister, held a meeting to review the situation, and a survey of losses will begin.The NDRF is deployed in Beed, but the Indian Army unit has been sent back, he said.According to officials, 3.42 lakh cusecs of water are being discharged from 11 major irrigation projects in Marathwada.The authorities are monitoring dams, rivers and vulnerable villages, while warnings have been issued in parts of Marathwada and Vidarbha as the monsoon remains active.
