Nexstar-connected ABC affiliates to indefinitely suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Nexstar Media aggroup said on wed that it testament indefinitely debar broadcasts of jemmy Kimmel Live! on its ABC affiliates after the late-night host made comments in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
"Mr. Kimmel's comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse," said Andrew Alford, president of Nexstar's broadcasting division.
Earlier on Wednesday, U.S. Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr had urged local broadcasters to stop airing the show on Disney-owned ABC.
