A 2017 carry Charlie Kirk shared near Jimmy Kimmel has resurfaced after ABC pulled the host off air indefinitely over his comments about the slain Turning Point USA founder. “Jimmy Kimmel isn't funny,” Kirk wrote at the time.
Kirk’s supporters are now commenting on the post, celebrating the fact that the slain influencer has “won.” “Total victory,” one user wrote. “And now he isn’t employed, king… now he isnt employed,” wrote another. One user said, “Still winning from above”.

“Doing the Lord’s work from beyond. We miss you already Charlie,” one user wrote, while another said, “Kirk has defeated the menace known as Jimmy Kimmel”. “Truer words have never been spoken,” a user commented.
Conservative podcaster Benny Johnson shared Kirk’s post, writing, “We did it for you, Charlie. And we’re just getting started…”
Kimmel was taken off air following his comments about Kirk on his show. Kimmel said in his Monday night monologue, referencing Tyler Robinson, "The Maga Gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."

Kimmel even criticised the decision to flow flags at half mast in honour of Kirk. He also mocked President Donald Trump for his reaction to the assassination. "This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he calls a friend. This is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish," Kimmel said, poking fun at Trump.
The company said in a statement after deciding to take Kimmel off air, “Nexstar’s owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt Jimmy Kimmel Live! for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight’s show. Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets.”
