About the Ramayana teaserThe visuals showed Ranbir being showered with flower petals as he made a royal entry into Ayodhya. The glimpse then showed him kneeling in front of his father and receiving the crown. It later cut to his time in exile with Sita and Lakshman. The teaser also featured Ranbir in warrior mode. Towards the end, it teased Yash’s look as Ravana without revealing his face, further building excitement among fans.About RamayanaBeing billed as India’s answer to The Lord of the Rings and Avatar, Ramayana will be released in two parts, with a reported combined production budget of ₹4,000 crore. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The film also features music by A.R. Rahman, who has collaborated with legendary composer Hans Zimmer. The first part of the two-film saga is scheduled to release on Diwali 2026.Ranbir had revealed during the teaser screening in Los Angeles that he had initially rejected the film, but the birth of his daughter changed things for him.
