I took heavy painkillers and shot for the last few scenes. Since I couldn't stand and walk, I came back to Mumbai in a wheelchair. I am on painkillers and steroids and now I am due to for an MRI today. I have been on bed rest ever since I returned to Mumbai. I am slowly recovering. I am not able to put my foot on the floor and I am still limping." Aasif is mourning the demise of friend-writer Manoj SantoshiApart from this physical setback, the actor also opened up about his emotional blow due to the sudden demise of his writer friend Manoj Santoshi. Manoj died due to a liver-related complication on Monday. "I lost a very good friend. My relationship with Manoj Santoshi, goes several years back. He was a great talent, a great writer. He has left a big void in my life," the actor said.About Aasif SheikhAasif has been working in the television industry for a long time. He began his career with Hum Log. He is well-known for his roles in television series such as Yes Boss, Dill Mill Gayye and Chidiya Ghar.
