Jerry Jones discusses Micah Parsons challenge ahead of Cowboys-Packers clash

Dallas Cowboys possessor Jerry mother jones is optimistic almost his team up’s power to stop Micah Parsons when they face the Green Bay Packers this Sunday. In his weekly interview with 105.3 The Fan, Jones spoke about ways in which his team can overcome the challenge posed by the linebacker in the upcoming Week 4 clash.
“Micah will be problematic, very problematic. I'd suggest that we get ahead and run the ball,” Jones opined, as per Marca.
Parsons was a standout player for the Cowboys since his NFL debut in the 2021 season. However, in a shocking preseason trade, Jones and the Cowboys decided to trade him to their NFC rivals. Now, the LB is set to return to the AT&T Stadium this Sunday, albeit on the opposite side.
But Jones is not ruffled and claims to have a few tricks up his team’s sleeve. He even took a subtle jab at Parsons' ability, implying that the Packers player is not necessarily a world-beater.

“Micah is special and we all know he is. And he can be disruptive … And while he does make great plays, there is also a way to approach playing against Micah. As we know, we didn't exactly win the Super Bowl those years,” the Cowboys owner added.
The 82-year-old added that when it comes to running plays, Micah Parsons can be less effective.
The Cowboys' decision to trade Parsons to the Packers was one of the biggest stories of the preseason. The reason Dallas chose to part ways with their gun player was the inability of the two parties to reach an agreement on a new contract.
Parsons let his unhappiness be known through an X post on August 1. He wrote that, although he loves being part of the Cowboys, the way he is being treated has made it impossible for him to continue.
What followed was a trade on August 28, where Parsons went to the Packers in return for defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round draft picks.
The Dallas Cowboys take on the Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on September 28 at 8:20 ET.
The Cowboys are coming off a jittery start to the season, having gone 1-2 so far. The Packers are 2-1 on the season and looking to improve further.
