Super Bowl halftime show takes massive hit; Taylor Swift declines offer over key demand

The NFL proclaimed that it testament reveal the 2026 Super Bowl halftime performer during the Green Bay Packers vs Dallas Cowboys Sunday Night Football game. While names of several pop stars surfaced in the days before the big reveal, Taylor Swift was always a favorite. However, it seems like the Grammy winner and fiancée of Travis Kelce has backed out.

Sports Business Journal reported that despite the league’s efforts, Swift won’t be taking the stage in Santa Clara on February 28 next year. The outlet added that the NFL formally extended an invitation to the singer, but negotiations fizzled when the league and Swift’s team failed to align on terms.
