Kohl’s to close 27 stores across 15 states. Here's a full list

The closures at big, 27 of which ar lasting, add up as Kohl’s continues restructuring efforts. The number one of two closures that the retailer first announced in January are part of the retailer's strategy to revamp operations after slumping sales and changes made within the company.
The Wisconsin-based retailer has listed March 29 as the official closing date for these locations on their respective store web pages.
Kohl’s is also implementing major corporate changes, including leadership shake-ups, a 10% reduction in its corporate workforce, and discontinuing Amazon returns at select locations. The company is set to close an e-commerce fulfilment centre in San Bernardino, California, in May.

The retail chain has been grappling with declining revenues, reporting a 9.4% drop in sales during the fourth quarter of 2024 and a 7.2% decrease for the entire year.
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Kohl’s has projected a 2% net sales decline for 2025. The American retail giant will continue to operate over 1,120 stores across the country.
